Edward Chalfant, Professor Emeritus of English at Hofstra University, is the author of a three-volume biography of Henry Adams. Conrad Edick Wright is the Ford Editor of Publications and Director of Research at M.H.S. He is the author, most recently of Revolutionary Generation: Harvard Men and the Consequences of Independence.
