The Court-Martial of Paul Revere: A Son of Liberty and America's Forgotten Military Disaster' by Michael M. Greenburg
6:30 pm, Wine and Cheese Reception 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm USS Constitution Museum
Though indisputably patriotic, Revere, like so many others, possessed a personality far more complex than a single defining moment would suggest.
Mr. Greenburg will speak about the historical record of Paul Revere, from the Midnight Ride through his lesser-known travails and ultimate trial by court-marital following the doomed Penobscot Expedition – a troubling and often ignored chapter in the life of this beloved American icon.
This lecture is presented in collaboration with Old South Meeting House and the Paul Revere House and is sponsored by Lowell Institute.
Book signing to follow.
Wine and cheese reception 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
This lecture is FREE and open to the public.
No registration is required.
