Did your mother save your Batman and Superman collections?
Do you still have toys and board games used by your great grand parents?
How about some early Sesame Street dolls or coloring books?
Have you wondered what they might be worth?
John Cimino from Saturday Morning Collectibles in Waltham will be offering with paid admission, free evaluations of old comic books, classic toys and games, collection cards and other pop culture items at the Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History at Regis College in Weston on Thursday November 12 at 7:30 pm.
John has appeared on AMC's hit reality show Comic Book Men, writes for Back Issue magazine and The Jack Kirby Collector and buys/sells some of the most prized and rarest pieces of Super Hero memorabilia in the world.
He will begin the program with a short talk about his collection and tips about what makes a comic book or other items valuable to a collector.
He will also show some of his fantastic collection.
The Museum will have on display stamps featuring various comic book characters including Superman, Archie, Dick Tracy, Looney Tune characters and the X-men.
All Museum galleries will be open including the new exhibit on the history of the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School.
Everyone will also receive a free packet of stamps.
