At present there are only about 900 of these gorillas left in the entire world.
Join us as Wayne recounts his recent visit to Rwanda and the gorillas of the Volcanos National Park.
This park is also well known as the site of famous primate researcher Diane Fossey’s research field camp and the heart of her efforts to try to save these magnificent animals.
Learn about the current conservation status of the mountain gorilla and the efforts Rwanda has in place to promote sustainable ecotourism to help protect these magnificent animals.
