Dr. Templer, an Assistant Professor of Biology at Boston University, will present the results of her research on the effects of rising temperatures on forests in New England, and Mr. Oladapo-Johnson, Director of Operations for the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, will describe his organization's efforts to reduce the damage to their trees caused by methane leaks from natural gas pipelines.
Discussion and light refreshments will follow the talk.
This talk will be presented by Mothers Out Front in Brookline, a grassroots organization of mothers and others working to make climate change an issue our leaders can no longer ignore.
We advocate for a swift, complete, and just transition away from fossil fuels and toward clean and renewable energy.
