A Faith That Does Justice (AFTDJ) is pleased to welcome the Honorable Ruben Zamora, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of El Salvador to the United Nations and formerly Ambassador to the United States from El Salvador, as our first Community Meeting speaker.
Ambassador Zamora has been a leading voice for social justice and civil rights for more than 30 years He will be interviewed by AFTDJ founder, Peter W.
Gyves, SJ, MD, who has known Ambassador Zamora since El Salvador’s civil war of the 1980’s.
This special night of fellowship will also include an opportunity for the community to discuss the evening’s topic in small groups and exchange ideas and questions with Ambassador Zamora.
All are welcome at Community Meetings.
Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available and light refreshments will be served.
