Populations of salmon are declining to critical levels despite worldwide conservation efforts.
For the first time, scientists, using the latest DNA technology, are able to track the salmon from rivers to estuaries into the Atlantic Ocean and back again, in hopes of finding an answer to their plight.
'Lost at Sea' was narrated by the Irish actor and director Gabriel Byrne.
The film's producer, Deirdre Brennan, will introduce the film prior the screening.
Afterward, there will be a question-and-answer session with Jonathan Carr, Vice President of Research and Environment of the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
