Drawing from his experience as a Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court and his work with the legal papers of John Adams, Hon. Hiller Zobel will highlight some of the ways that memory affects legal trials. Zobel has authored or co-authored numerous publications, including the Legal Papers of John Adams (with L. Kinvin Wroth) and The Boston Massacre.

He has written columns for the Christian Science Monitor on law and litigation from the trial judge's viewpoint, as well as numerous articles for American Heritage magazine and scholarly journals on legal and constitutional history.
