Modern American Music and Composition Departments: A Collabo
This collaborative concert will celebrate Longy’s Modern American Music Department's focus on new music and expand composition students' horizons by providing experience in composing for improvisers. The program has grown out of a series of joint meetings of the two departments’ weekly seminars and was brought to fruition after composers and performers were paired together.
