•Route Monitors who help coordinate the dynamics and ensure the safety of the expected 35,000 walkers around the six-mile route.
•The Setup Crew who arrives before the sun does, and helps us set up on the Esplanade. This is a perfect way to help if you're excited about Making Strides that you can't sleep.
•Sign up as Saturday Help and join the team that helps get everything ready the day before the walk by unpacking and setting up.
•Wrap-Up Crew helps us wrap up the event by folding up tables and chairs and loading up supply boxes onto trucks.
•Finish Line Greeters congratulate and cheer for the walkers as they cross the finish line. Bring your favorite noisemaker!
•Sign up at our Registration table to greet, register, and collect accurate information from 35,000 walkers.
•T Greeters will smile, wave, and direct arriving walkers to the Hatch Shell from an outside an MBTA station or near the Fiedler Footbridge.
•At Water Stops one will provide thirsty walkers at one of four water stations around the route.
•At the Snack Table one will help distribute yummy snacks to walkers after they cross the finish line.
•Assist at our Ribbon of Hope sculpture by helping walkers place ribbons bearing their personal messages
