Kids on the Block Puppets are coming to the Medford Library to educate nondisabled children about their disabled peers and to understand and accept them. The life size and brightly colored puppets are 3 to 4 feet tall. Some of the puppets have a disability and use aids that make their characters distinctive and realistic.

The style of puppetry is based on a Japanese style called Bunraku. After the presentation, the audience will be allowed to ask questions to the characters to better understand their disability. A great way for children to learn and accept others, while receiving the message through puppetry.

Presented by the National Honor Society of Medford High School.
