for the benefit of the
Doug Flutie, Jr. Autism Foundation.
New Englanders 12-year-old Marisa and 11-year-old Michael, a rising force in the tween rock scene with their new debut album, Kickin’ It Together, are performing in a special concert engagement at the Hard Rock Café in Boston on February 8, 2009. Doors open at 12:00 PM for lunch service and concert begins at 1:00 PM. The pop/rock duo have been performing and writing songs for the past four years and have performed in over 140 engagements in dozens of cities across the country. Highlight performances include the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, Earthfest at Lincoln Center NYC, the Boston Harborfest, the CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, the 2008 Camplified Tour, Six Flags in GA, NY and MA, and Hershey Park. Recently, Michael received an endorsement from Gibson Guitars and looks forward to working with the company. With their harmonizing vocals, accompanied by Michael on guitar and Marisa on drums, they are multi-talented, pure at heart, and unique to today’s bands.
The proceeds from the concert will benefit the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, which promotes awareness, improves the quality of life for autistic children, and supports families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
