From the Top, the popular showcase for America’s best young classical musicians, hosted by acclaimed pianist Christopher O’Riley, tapes its NPR radio program at New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall.

The concert taping will feature performances and interviews with the Boston Children’s Chorus, a 15-year-old cellist from Newton playing Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody, a 17-year-old harpist from Cincinnati, an 18-year-old flutist from Atlanta playing Henri Dutilleux and a 17-year-old pianist from Washington, D.C. performing Prokofiev.

Come see why audiences across the country have been swept away by the music and stories of From the Top’s talented young performers. NBC’s Today Show says, 'you don't have to love classical music to love From the Top.' The Boston Globe calls From the Top, 'entertaining, accessible and inspirational,'
