In the 1940s, Francis Poulenc set to music Jean de Brunhoff's delightful story of the young elephant Babar, who leaves the jungle for the big city. When he returns with stories and wisdom from his travels, he becomes King of the Forest.

Poulenc's interesting piano score highlights the narrative tale. Presented by Peggy Pearson and Megan Henderson of Winsor Music, Babar the Elephant is a captivating entertainment for all ages.
