In their first recital appearances at MCC, Mr. Whittlesey and Mr. McStoots will perform music of J.S. Bach, Henry Purcell, Dietrich Buxtehude, and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Noted Boston organist and collaborative pianist James Busby will accompany the soloists on the MCC Rodgers 950B organ and Hubbard harpsichord. Mr. Busby is well known in New England and has played to critical acclaim of Boston critics Richard Dyer, Lloyd Schwartz, and Richard Buell. Cellist Matthew Knippel joins Mr. Busby for continuo work in the Baroque music.
