In “Mutate!” David Haines gives an entertaining explanation of mutation and natural selection, and Graham Treacher describes the convergent evolution of cephalopod and human eyes in “Song of the Octopus.” Lauren Mayer’s “Undercover Creatures” is a song that tells of the many forms of camouflage used by various animals.
