Club Passim opens its doors to the Cambridge Science Festival for this exciting event. SoundScience Fun! Is a dynamic interactive exploration designed to introduce children of all ages to the science of sound and musical instruments.

The performance invites audience participation in multiple way; audience members are invited to sing along to songs, including “I’m a Body Symphony,” “Wonderful Things About Strings” and “No Matter How you Twist It. It’s Still a Horn”; audience members volunteer to come up on stage to help with demonstrations from the stage; and through short activities that individuals can do as a group.

The performance is open to people of all ages, though geared specifically for children. Audience members will participate through demos, question and answer, sing-alongs and “move-alongs” that help demonstrate the science of sound. This is a special Culture for Kids event at Club Passim, therefore we ask for a suggested donation of $5 for adults and $2 for children. www.soundsciencefun.com, www.cambridgesciencefestival.org
