The acclaimed Bolivian troupe Sumaj Chasquis, meaning 'good messengers,' brings together indigenous and mestizo musicians to share the enchanting culture and music of the Andes, through music and dance.
Learn how music has remained a cultural and spiritual center for the Aymara and Quechua peoples, and how musical elements introduced by the Spanish were integrated, creating something distinct and beautiful. See an array of musical instruments, sing along with traditional songs, and even learn how to dance the joyful and spectacular Tinku dance of the Quechua people!
