Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Charles Ansbacher, Conductor and Artistic Director, and Jacqueline Choi, cellist, Master’s Degree student at the New England Conservatory, and recipient of the New England Conservatory’s President’s Award.
An encore presentation of performances from the Boston Landmarks Orchestra’s Viennese Masters featuring Franz Joseph Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 2 in D major and Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 68.
Thursday, July 23 at 7:00p.m. at the Beale Estate, Adams National Historical Park, Quincy. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Quincy High School Auditorium, 52 Coddington St. in Quincy.
The Boston Landmarks Orchestra and Charles Ansbacher, Artistic Director, once again bring music to Quincy as part of its Neighborhood Concerts Series. The Orchestra welcomes cellist Jacqueline Choi for the second performance of her limited three- concert engagement with the Landmarks Orchestra. The Quincy concert is the first of three Neighborhood Concerts being presented by Boston Landmarks Orchestra.

About Jacqueline Choi, Cellist
Jacqueline Choi has performed as a soloist with the Boston Symphony, Bucheon Philharmonic, the New England Philharmonic, the Brockton Symphony, and the New England Conservatory Chamber Orchestra. As a recitalist, she performed an all-French program at the Musée du Louvre in Paris in 2008 and a sonata program at the Neue Gallerie in New York City. In 2007, the Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center invited her to perform the Brahms G Major Sextet in its gala concert with violinist Itzhak Perlman. She is currently the recipient of the New England Conservatory's President's Award.

Charles Ansbacher is the Conductor and Founder of the Boston Landmarks Orchestra and the Artistic Director of the Landmarks Festival at the Shell. In addition to his recent appointment as the Principal Guest Conductor of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, he has conducted all over the world with organizations such as the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and in cities including Bishkek, Budapest, Jerusalem, London, Quito, Salzburg, Seoul, and Warsaw
