Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) is pleased to once again offer opera aficionados and newcomers the opportunity to experience opera in a relaxed setting for free. Those eager for an inexpensive evening and itching for live music can venture to the DCR Hatch Shell alone or with friends and family to enjoy excerpts from BLO’s 2009-2010 Season plus other opera favorites performed by BLO artists and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra.
