An Inaugural Concert Series

The New School of Music, in Cambridge, is pleased to announce a new monthly chamber concert series, “3rd Wednesdays”, to kick off on Wednesday, January 20th at 7:00pm. This concert titled “Inaugural: A Concert of Firsts” will feature local musicians performing an array of chamber works including classical accordion and violin duets to folk guitar and song.

Among the musicians will be, classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan whom the Washington Post says his “acoustic melodies should not be missed!” Also performing will be free-lance violinist Anne Hooper Webb, a member of Pro Arte and the Boston Philharmonic, and virtuoso accordionist Emilian Badea who will join us in duet. And to add a twist to the mix, will be Steve Mayone on voice and guitar who has been said to be 'A master songsmith' - Americana UK.

The 3rd Wednesday Concert Series at the New School is intended to showcase the talents of New School performing artists and local musicians over a variety of musical genres. Admission is free to all Cambridge Public School students and enrolled New School of Music students; general admission is $10.
