Introduce your kids to the Beatles in the best possible way - by singing one of their greatest albums from start to finish! On Sunday, March 6th, an all-star band of young Brookline Music School students will perform Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in its entirety, and you’re invited to sing the album with them. Whether you’re an aging Beatlemaniac or the youngest of enthusiasts, the Beatles Open Sing is sure to be fun for the whole family. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!Beatles Open Sing performers are students of John Purcell in the ensemble program at Brookline Music School. Ensembles provide a unique opportunity to experience the joys of music making with others. Brookline Music School has a wide array of ensembles, including Jazz/Rock/Funk and Chamber Ensembles, Flute Choir and Jazz in July. Ensembles are offered year-round, catering to a variety of musical abilities and interests, with multiple performance opportunities.
The Beatles Open Sing will take place in the Lincoln School Auditorium (16 Kennard Road, Brookline, MA 02445) on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2:00pm. The performance is 60 minutes in length. Admission is $5 at the door per person.
