Kids enjoy the music, dance, or just enjoy the other activities available to them, and parents get the ever-so-rare opportunity to listen to great live music and enjoy a beer with other parents. Romps give parents who miss that aspect of their social life a chance to get out, enjoy some music that might be new to them, and expose their kids to great bands in a safe, friendly environment.
Parents and their kids aren’t the only ones who benefit from Rock-n-Romp. Even local bands with loyal followings want to reach a broader audience, and romps give them a chance to interact with an audience that is interested but maybe unable to get away on a Saturday night to go to a bar and take in live music.'
This Romp will feature the music of One Happy Island (http://www.myspace.com/onehappyislandmusic) as well as DJ Michael Savant of the Liberty Hotel's 'Fashionably Late'.
More guests and fun to be announced!
