Rockin' Babies/Boppin' Toddlers: Melrose Library
The Melrose Library Children's Room present its newest toddler program, 'Rockin' Babies & Boppin' Toddlers.' Certified Music Therapist Meredith Pizzi engages children and their parents with songs, fingerplays, lapsongs, and lots of FUN!
Winter/Spring 2010 sessions will be held on Mondays 9/20, 10/18, 11/15, and 12/2

A Perfect Way To Introduce Your Baby And Toddler To MusicI also started bringing my son to this group at 4 months (now he is 2 years) and he also loved it. In fact, he loves music so much now, and he can actually keep a beat, and I think it is all from these music classes. Meredith is fantastic and the songs are easy to practice at home. Before you know it, your little one will be asking you to sing the songs at home. I also give credit to these groups for my little one LOVING to read. Meredith has a song that talks about how to turn the pages of the book. When he was still a wee one, he wanted to turn the books as we sang the song. Now he just loves books. We also signed up for some of her classes she holds through Roman Music Therapy in Melrose.
Music For Infant And Toddlers I started bringing my baby to this group when she was 4 months old (now she is 17 months) and she LOVED going every time. Meredith is excellent with babies and toddlers (they Love her). All of her activities are engaging and fun. I would highly recommend this activity and if you can't make this time slot she has classes that you can sign up for.
