The concert is happening as part of the 32nd Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music April 9 to 11 at The Rivers School Conservatory.

Other highlights include a world premiere by commissioned composer Michael Gandolfi and a presentation by WordSong, an interactive concert series in which four composers (Howard Frazin, John McDonald, Tom Schnauber, and Andy Vores) debut new pieces based on Theodore Roethke's 'My Papa's Waltz.' The seminar is three days of contemporary music, performed primarily by RSC students ranging from age 6 to 18.

Each student will receive a complimentary pipe!
