The Mayor’s Office for Cultural Affairs is delighted to kick off an exciting series of music, theatre and marionettes performances on Newton Center Green for four Sundays in July, with the Winiker Band on July 10th from 6:15 – 7:45pm.
The Winiker Band is New England’s premier live music, playing contemporary and classic rock, pop, swing and jazz, as well as ethnic music from around the world. At the Heritage Festival in Newton this summer, the famed Winiker band will be playing favorite highlights of American popular music from 1911 – 2011.
Bring your family, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy all these evenings on the green.
Don’t miss the other shows on July 17 with Koliba, July 24 – Commonwealth Shakespeare and Tanglewood Marionettes on July 31.
The Heritage Festival Concerts are sponsored by Newton Community Pride. Cancelled in the event of rain.
