On Wednesday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m., Mohamed Manadile and Deborah & Giovani Rocha will be perform at the Charlestown Sprouts Community Garden located at Terminal Street in Charlestown as part of the Sounds of the Garden concert series presented by Boston Natural Areas Network. The free concert series, now in its 8th season, is generously funded and produced by Ellen Schmidt and Jake Kensinger.

Manadile and the Rochas will bring an international rhythm and mood of Sudanese and Brazilian tunes to the garden playing whatever comes to mind. Dancing and audience participation is encouraged. Children are welcome and participants should remember to bring a blanket or chair.

Boston Natural Areas Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together local residents, partner organizations, public officials and foundations to preserve, expand, and enhance urban open space, including community gardens, greenways, and urban wilds.
