Saturday, September 11th Concert on the Green- 1PM- 5PM : Gin Blossoms- the band that has rocked the airwaves for years has returned with the upcoming release of their new album, No Chocolate Cake. With over a decade in the music industry, songs like Hey Jealousy and Follow You Down, continue to be popular melodies. Opening Act: Kingston 530 has taken shape as a versatile and fun group of musicians and friends. This Rhode Island based band that originated on the college campus of University of Rhode Island years ago is in preparation for their first official album which has yet to be named. Opening Act: Diane Birch hails from London and has spent her time in America finding her voice and creating her first album, Bible Belt. Birch’s musical sound has a gospel feel with doo-wop harmonies, country-blues guitar and classic AM radio-style melodies.
The music at ‘Concerts on the Green’ is FREE.
