Alastair Moock’s Pastures of Plenty family show with Laura Cortese, Eric Royer, Jamie Walker & Paul KochanskiWhen Alastair Moock began his Pastures of Plenty series in Boston in 2000, the idea was to bridge some of the gaps he saw in the local music scene — between the folk and roots rock crowds, between the contemporary and traditional scenes, and between younger and older players.
But what it really came down to was just bringing together some of the region's best songwriters and musicians to swap tunes on a stage.
Pastures of Plenty is a show that the entire family will enjoy. Alastair Moock enjoys interacting with those of all ages. He transforms his show to bring out the key themes for a younger audience.
Moock engages with his younger audience allowing them to feel part of the show. Alastair Moock will also be performing an “adult” show 8:00 PM.
Club Passim is located in Harvard Square at 47 Palmer St, Cambridge, MA 02138. Tickets to shows at Club Passim are available are available online at www.passim.org, by phone at 617.492.7679 (9:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or at the box office sixty minutes before the show begins.
