23-year-old John Stevens became famous on American Idol six years ago when he sang 'The Way You Look Tonight' a cappella, eventually finishing sixth. Tonight, he will sing this song and many other Sinatra classics in front of a magnificent 36-piece big band, which is the same configuration that Sinatra and the Rat Pack used, and one that is rarely seen nowadays. Eighteen talented string musicians from the Lexington High School Orchestra will join the Beantown Swing Orchestra to form this spectacular band.

In addition, John and the band will perform original big band arrangements of classic holiday songs, so bring the whole family and sing along. There will also be a special appearance by the LHS Women's Chorus.

The 1000-seat, newly-renovated Donald J. Gillespie, Jr. Auditorium at Lexington High School has great acoustics for this type of ensemble, allowing you to experience the magnificent, full sound of a big band without excessive amplification.
