Johnson Trio, and with the Grace Kelly Quintet and the Grace Kelly Quintet with Phil Woods. Doug has performed throughout Europe and the U.S.; including performances at the Jazz Standard (N.Y.); in Vienna, Warsaw, London, Paris, Madrid, Cohenhagen, Berlin. Festivals include Montreal, Toronto,
Tanglewood, Oslo, Boston, Warsaw and Newport.
As an educator Doug specializes in rhythmic studies, Brazilian music, piano technique. Doug has done work with the Alexander Technique and Body Mapping and these concepts inform the work he does with students.
