Dedham School of Music students will kick off the show. Also, there will be an instrument petting zoo at which attendees will learn about different instruments in a hands-on way.
Also, local fine artists and crafters -- potters, sculptors, painters, jewelry makers, fiber artists -- showcase their work. Plus, local artists and great food!
New this year! The town of Dedham's Environmental Department and Sustainability Advisory Committee will be bringing a green component to the festival! From 12 to 4 pm environmentally concious vendors and organizations will be on hand to help educate and engage local residents on the benefits of sustainability.
On June 11 Voicewize and Discover Music And Art will be participating in the Dedham Square Music and Art Festival. Be one of the first 100 people to stop by our tent and receive a free Shaker Egg (one per family), Sing, dance and join a jam session, discover Music Theory by playing fun Music Mind Games, engage in an Child Speech Q & A with a Therapist and enter our FREE raffle to be the lucky winner of a beautiful Remo Gathering Drum!
Also on June 11, Spanish in Motion will also perform songs in Spanish at 12:30pm and 1:40pm.
