Robbins Library Summer Concert Series Kickoff with Bari Koral. Groove to the tunes of Bari Koral, the “’IT girl’ in kids/family music” (NY Magazine). Bring a picnic, your family and friends and enjoy a beautiful summer evening. Location: Robbins Whittemore Lawn (or if it rains, Robbins Library community room).

Ms. Koral's catchy, pop friendly tunes, interactive live shows & heavy rotation radio play have gained the band literally thousands of young (and not so young!) fans. Their latest album Rock and Roll Garden won the 2010 Nappa Gold and Parent’s Choice Award and was voted top 10 kids album of the year by Time Out Kids.

Bari’s career was also featured in the New York Times. In addition to being a family recording artist, Bari teaches kids yoga and music and movement in nyc based on her songs for children. Her live shows blend all the above- Children may pop like popcorn, surf the waves, run like the gingerbread man, and they may even learn to “jam with the band.” The live show may also feature great tunes by artists such as REM, the Avett Brothers & The Beatles.
