HSO musicians delight in sharing their passion and skill directly with audiences. The Discovery program and Instrument Showcase bring you face to face with their talent. Boston Symphony Orchestra's assistant principal bassist Larry Wolfe will narrate perhaps the most famous symphonic work for children and perform lively solo works with the orchestra.
This is a fun family favorite featuring young musicians performing with the orchestra in pieces selected to appeal to children. After the concert, guests are invited to stay to see instruments up close during instrument showcase.
