The NSJP All Stars is a high school ensemble formed from some of the best High School musicians on the North Shore. Auditions were held at Ipswich High School on June 16th.
The All Stars artistic director is Mike Tucker, a graduate of Danvers High, Berklee College of Music and The New England Conservatory. Mike is an internationally recognized player, composer and teacher. Read more about him at: www.tuckerjazz.com.

The NSJP gives a big shout out to Ipswich High Music Director, Gerry Dolan for making the school available for the auditions and the rehearsals. Our All Stars come from Marblehead, Beverly, Topsfield, Ipswich, Wenham and Rockport.

The North Shore Jazz Project’s mission has been to create an environment on the North Shore where music education, performance and appreciation can flourish. Since November 2009, the group has presented standing room only events with top quality performances and several inspirational educational clinics at multiple schools and venues. Clinics are free to student musicians.
