The North Shore Jazz Project presents:The J. Geils Quintet in the Historic Barn at the Crane Estate in Ipswich

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking; Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

The North Shore Jazz Project is very excited to present this intimate opportunity to see J. Geils perform with his jazz quintet. Come out and see blues- rock guitar legend J Geils up close and personal, as he shares a very different side in the beautiful historic barn at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, and prepare yourself for a very memorable evening of jazz.
Gates will open at 5:30 to enjoy a magnificent foliage filled backdrop. Bring your own picnic in the tradition of the Great House concerts. Bring a picnic for a gorgeous backdrop on the lawn above the barn. The concert will feature outstanding talent of the J Geils Quintet.
Prior to the concert we are proud to present a free guitar workshop for high school musicians.

About the North Shore Jazz Project:
Since its inception, the North Shore Jazz Project’s mission has been to create an environment where music education, performance and appreciation can flourish. Since November 2009, the group has presented several standing room only events with top quality performances and inspirational school workshops.
