et ready for one of the year’s most exciting and beautiful concerts! The fall event in the ongoing “Playing For the Planet” series showcases stringed instruments from three of the world’s greatest traditions, coming together to draw attention to the global climate crisis.
Featured artists include the Turkish and Ottoman music of Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol and the Dünya Ensemble, the South Indian veena virtuoso Durga Krishnan, and the internationally acclaimed classical guitarists Eliot Fisk and Zaira Meneses. All proceeds will go to the environmental organization www.350.org.
