Children are welcome to come dressed in their Halloween costume and goodies will be for sale at the show. All proceeds will go to the Concord Children’s Center, a non-profit early childhood education center founded in 1975.
Rolie Polie Guacamole is the hippest new children’s band from Brooklyn, NY and they are becoming a local favorite in Concord, MA with some great shows at Barefoot Books this year. The band has an expanding fan base across the Northeast with monthly shows at children’s museums, libraries, bookstores and venues featuring children’s bands. Their two albums Rolie Polie Guacamole and Time for Hummus are a mix of funk, rock and folk music mashed into original songs about natural living, eating healthy and staying active. Kids love dancing and singing along to this high energy band and parents love the positive influence their songs have on trying new and healthy foods. After dancing along to their 45 min set your kids just might be ready for a good night’s sleep!
