This upbeat family concert will feature spirited sing alongs, traditional and original music and lots of audience participation. David Grover, the “Jerry Garcia of the Elementary Set”, has been compared to James Taylor, Paul Simon and Elmo. David Grover will be accompanied by The Big Bear Band featuring Kathy Jo Barrett and Terry “A La Berry” Hall.

About David Grover
During the 1970’s David Grover joined Arlo Guthries band as his lead guitarist and arranger. In 1984, David became involved in writing and performing children’s music. In 1989 he created “Grover’s Corner”, a PBS television show teaching children about music. This show led to the 1991 PBS special “Chanukah at Grover’s Corner”, a show whose aim is to teach children of all faiths about the festival of Chanukah.
Both PBS shows have received many honors and awards, including a Gabriel Award from the National Association of Catholic Broadcasters, an Iris award, and an Emmy nomination for Best Children and Youth Special.
