In music classes for two different age groups, newborn to 1 year and 1-3 years, Dunja Pechstein, wants to share her enthusiasm for international music and dance. We will sing and dance with the children, use instruments and improvise our own songs. There will be an emphasis on multi-ethnic and multi-lingual songs- please come along and share your traditions with us. Most of all – parents and children will have fun!
Instructor Dunja Pechstein received her diploma in vocal pedagogy and masters in music in Germany. She lived in New York City for several years where she worked as a soloist and taught voice at the United Nations International School. Dunja, her husband and daughter currently live in Jamaica Plain. She teaches music to children at the German International School and enjoys her new life as a mother.
