The Chieftains, Ireland's mighty traditional Irish music group, is playing at Boston Symphony Hall on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. Don't miss the fun as Paddy Moloney and band return to Symphony Hall for a pre-St. Patrick's Day bash!

Six-time Grammy winners, The Chieftains are recognized for bringing traditional Irish music to the world's attention. They have uncovered the wealth of great Irish music that has accumulated over the centuries, and made the music their own with a style that is as exhilarating as it is definitive.

This tour supports their recent release of 'Voice of Ages' and the show's special guests include: Triona Marshall, harp; Alyth McCormack, vocals; Jeff White, guitar, vocals; Deanie Richardson, fiddle; Jon Pilatzke, fiddle, dancer; Nathan Pilatzke, dancer; and Cara Butler, dancer.

Program is 90 minutes with no intermission. At Boston Symphony Hall.
