SingPositive is a multigenerational and diverse group of singers and instrumentalists, who perform a range of popular and eclectic music styles. They cover Georgian, Folk-Rock, Spiritual and Children’s music.
Jamaica Plain First Thursdays (http://www.jpcentresouthmainstreets.org/first-thursdays.php) is a monthly community event that values the importance of the arts and partners with local business to create a monthly evening stroll of art, music, and shopping. The stroll has grown a great deal in six years and it is a favorite evening out for many residents and over 35 businesses participate by showcasing local artists in their stores and offices with wonderful receptions. All exhibits are extremely well attended and create extra sales for the local shops.
