From the Top, the popular showcase for America's best young classical musicians heard weekly on Classical New England, tape a radio episode before a live audience at New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall. Host Christopher O'Riley.

Audiences across the country have been swept away by the music and stories of the nation's most talented pre-collegiate performers.

Performers include:
Sebastian Stoger, cello, age 13 from New York, NY
Elizabeth Aoki, violin, age 9 from Cresskill, NJ
Vanessa Meiling Haynes, piano, age 15 from Shrewsbury, MA
Guan Bo 'William' Su, bass/baritone, age 18 from Beijing, China and a student at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts
Bryan Duerfeldt, recorder, age 18 from Bloomington, MN and attending Yale University.

Don't miss this fun event! Recommended for ages 7 and up.

NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY'S JORDAN HALL
30 Gainsborough Street, Boston, MA

New England Conservatory, located at 290 Huntington Avenue, Boston, is one block from Boston Symphony Hall at the corner of Gainsborough Street and is easily reached by public transportation. The entrance to Jordan Hall is at 30 Gainsborough Street.

DIRECTIONS

By Car: Traveling east on the Massachusetts Turnpike, Route I-90, take Exit 22 to the Prudential exit, surface onto Huntington Avenue, continue straight through the light, go under or cross Massachusetts Avenue, and turn left at the traffic light onto Gainsborough Street. Traveling north on Route I-93, take exit 18 to Massachusetts Avenue and continue north for six blocks. Turn left just before the white Symphony Towers onto St. Botolph Street and go one block to Gainsborough Street.

By Subway: Take the MBTA Green Line 'E' train to the Symphony stop. Walk one block west on Huntington Avenue, towards the YMCA. Take the first left, onto Gainsborough Street. Jordan Hall is on the right. Note: this station is not wheelchair accessible.ORTake the MBTA Orange Line to Massachusetts Avenue station. Exit the station via the covered end of the platform and take a left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Walk to the first set of lights, at St. Botolph Street. Take a left onto St. Botolph Street and walk to the end of the block. Jordan Hall is located diagonally on the right. Note: this station is wheelchair accessible.
