On Saturday, March 16th, Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys will return to Westwood to play two shows (9:30am & 11am) to benefit St.
John’s Nursery School.
The concert will be held at the First Parish Hall, 340 Clapboardtree Street in Westwood, MA.
Vanessa’s show last year created a lot of buzz among the preschool set.
Parents and children alike were thoroughly engaged by her creative lyrics and it was almost impossible to sit still while listening to the band play such lively tunes!
In contrast to the typical nursery rhyme melodies they were used to, multiple parents in attendance commented, “this is kids’ music that I actually like!”.
Since she received such rave reviews last year, St.
John’s Nursery School has invited Vanessa & the ‘Jumping Monkeys’ to come back to recreate that wonderful experience!
Vanessa Trien is a Boston-based children’s performer with a national following.
She already had two award-winning CD’s, ‘Carnival Day’ and ‘Hot Air Balloon’, under her belt, when her new album, “Bubble Ride” won a Parent’s Choice Silver award in the October issue of Parenting Magazine.
Tickets are $8 (children under 1 are free) and you can get yours by contacting St.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door, but they may sell out, so prior purchase is recommended.
All proceeds from this event help support enrichment and educational opportunities for the students of St.
John’s Nursery School.
