This class offers a creative alternative to private lessons.
Students will learn the basics of rhythm, notation and ear training in a relaxed group setting that incorporates music and movement with basic keyboard skills.
By the end of the session students will be able to read and play simple melodies, recognize all notes on the keyboard, and understand the basics of rhythm and notation.
This class is a solid introduction for students who are planning to start individual lessons, or wanting to learn the basics of the keyboard.
Instructor: Piano Faculty
Session I: July 15-18 (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs, one-week)
Session II: July 29-August 1 (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs, one-week)
