Performing throughout the US and Canada with performances in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, the Jupiter String Quartet is a dynamic and democratic union that has won first prizes in multiple competitions including Banff International String Quartet Competition and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

Graduates of Cleveland Institute of Music and Oberlin College, the ensemble continues to gather acclaim through membership in Lincoln Center’s Chamber Music Society Two, as well as an Avery Fisher
Career Grant.

Travelling by Car: Rockport is 45 miles from downtown Boston.
Drive north on Rte. 128 to the traffic lights in Gloucester. Turn left onto Rte. 127. Drive 4 miles to Rockport. Continue through 'Five Corners' onto Rte. 127A (Broadway) toward the harbor. Turn left onto Mt. Pleasant Street, which will bear left and become Main Street.

Travelling by Public Transportation: Rockport is accessible by commuter rail from Boston and other North Shore towns. The train station is a pleasant 1/2 mile walk to the concert setting. Check MBTA schedules at www.mbta.com
