The Tito Puente Latin Music Series returns to the South End with free performances by Berklee College of Music faculty, students, alumni, and world-renowned artists from Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Venezuela.

Colombian vocalist María Mulata, whose high energy performances are influenced by the great flamenco singers of her culture, will perform on Thursday, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. O’Day Park is located at 85 West Newton Street and is wheelchair accessible.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move inside to Villa Victoria Center for the Arts.

For more information on the Tito Puente Latin Music Series and other Berklee Summer in the City events, presented by Natixis Global Asset Management, visit berklee.edu/events/summer.

Taking place on Thursdays in July and August at outdoor locations across Boston, the Tito Puente Latin Music Series is a soundscape of salsa, bolero, danzón, Afro-Latin, Caribbean, jazz, funk, R&B, and more.

Audiences should bring their dancing shoes for free salsa lessons provided by MetaMovements one hour before each performance.
