C.B. Fisk, Inc., founded in 1961, is a community of artisans, working together to produce an intricate end-product as close to perfection as humanly possible.
Founder of C.B. Fisk is the late Charles Fisk (1925-1983), a brilliant physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project, but ultimately focused his attention on the exacting pursuit of a musical ideal.
To Hear the Music is a documentary about the Fisk shop's collaborative method of creating, installing, and voicing a new pipe organ, Opus 139, for the magnificent Memorial Church at Harvard University.
Viewers will experience the intricate design process, attention to detail and stunning craftsmanship involved in the construction of a single organ from its conception to an inaugural Easter concert in 2012.
