At 7pm on December 6th, the free-spirited Firebird Ensemble celebrates the holidays at Boston's historic Faneuil Hall with its dramatic presentation of “A Christmas Carol”, an entertaining musical setting of Charles Dickens' classic novel by the same name.
Conceived and composed by Jon Deak, each character is depicted by its instrumental counterpart resulting in the musicians singing, acting, humming, and even clanking the chains of Marley's ghost.
Led by conductor Jeffrey Means, the 10-member Firebird Ensemble is joined by the exquisite vocal and acting abilities of highly acclaimed baritone Aaron Engebreth as narrator.
Other familiar holiday music on the program includes A Not-So Traditional Christmas Medley by Cameron Wilson and also a selection of Traditional Christmas Carols with an audience sing-along.
