Opening with the insistent rythms of 'Come All Ye Shepherds', excitement builds to the mysterious 'Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence'.
A sparkling 'Hark!
The Herald Angels Sing', a shimmering and haunting 'Stille Nacht' and a joyful 'Tidings of Comfort and Joy' add to the variety of program offerings.
Fittingly, the program closes with the joyous and rousing 'Joy of Christmas'.
These exhilarating pieces inspire audiences to a greater appreciation for the handbell instrument and often cause concert-goers to explaim 'I didn't know handbells could sound like that!'
